Fun (In The Sun?)

What a roller coaster kind of summer it's been for our old friend Mr. Sun! Seems he pokes his head in for a while ad just when we start to get used to him, BAM! He's gone like the wind. Expect the unexpected, people, and embrace whatever weather Mama Nature sends our way! Peace out!

Chill Blog

Just chillin' on my bed, listening to "Gimme More" and playing Tiny Tower, my current obsession. Thought I'd pop in to say hi. So hi. And bye.

Tired

I'm laying awake at 8:16 in the morning, groggy as groggy can get. I wanna go back to sleep but I can't. It's killing me. So I requested some books from the library, played some doodle jump and decided to blog. Ho hum. Sigh. Guess I'll go watch some music videos. Peace.

PS If you know how, PLEASE post a comment. I love getting comments. If you don't know how ask me!

River Day!

WOO! YEAH! AWL RIGHT! Today was the first day that we went to the river as a family. With the Cox's, too. I don't think I have to tell you how much fun it was. I can't wait for many future summer river trips together - hopefully with warmer water than this time, 'cause BRRR! it was super cold. Stay tuned for blog entries in Victoria tomorrow!

The Real Start of Summer

The last day of school is always a wonderful and monuments day, but alas, to me, it does not mark the true start of summer. Neither does the solstice - not in my book. Nay, today was the TRUE start of summer, because for the first time of the summer, our beloved father took Nicole, Josephine and me swimming at •WESTWOOD LAKE!• It was a lot of fun, despite daddy's little...predicament. Thanks, daddy! Summer has begun!

In The Summer Time

"In the summer time, when the weather is fine...". Great song, isn't it? I'm back at last! I've been too busy/stressed with school work to document my life happenings for the past month and a half, but now that I'm on •SUMMER VACATION• I don't have to worry about that any more! These are the days of swimming, tanning, outdoor reading, staying up late and fun with friends! What are you doing reading this?! Git out there and enjoy it! (Speacial shout out/sorry/thank you to MOM, who still has to work:(. Just know we appreciate it. Special river spot, here you come!
PS - By the time you're reading this I should have changed the colour scheme - purple just wasn't summer-y enough!
PPS - Don't forget to answer the new poll! It's near the bottom of the page but I really appreciate answers! You can even select more than one this time!

Helloooooo! :)

Hey, friends and family! Truth is, I have nothing to write about...I just feel like I need to blog because I haven't written anything since Arthur Slade. So here, I've written. Sorry for wasting you time! :)

Ladies and Gentlemen, Arthur Slade

The author himself came to Rutherford Elementary today. Arthur Slade is the author of books such as Dust, The Hunchback Assignments and Monsterology, and he is hilarious. He came to our school to talk about...stuff...and he was really nice. It was fun to listen to him. I plan to request four of his books from the library. And...yeah :) That's 'bout it.

And They're Off

Please don't make the "herd of turtles" joke again. I've heard it a thousand times today.

Yes, that's right. Today was the grand Times Colonist 10K! The day Daddy and I've been training for for months. And it was worth it, for we achieved success and got to spend some great quality time together. And to top it all off, I got a tee-shirt. Road trip, new favorite restaurant, 10K, tee-shirt - sounds like a good weekend to me.

A Dinner To Die For

As you probably know, we are in Victorrrrria for the Times Colonist 10K that daddy and I are running tomorrow. But I am here to blog about my meal tonight! Mommy and I ate at The Old Spaghetti Factory, and it may well be my new favourite restaurant! I llllllllloved it! The food was sensational (for us, Ceaser Salad, spaghetti and meatballs, garlic toast and the best hot wings EVER) and the people there were so nice :) Mom and the waitress, Autumn, started bonding over the serving industry and Autumn snuck us some extra ice cream. I had so much fun. I can't WAIT to eat there again!

Served Like Dinner!

Ah, sweet revenge! The most epic Canucks game (out of the three I've watched) I've ever seen was tonight, with the Canuckle-heads making a game-saving goal in overtime, booting our archrivals the Chicago Blackhawks right out of the play-offs. No need for a reprise of "You Suck Blackhawks" - nay, for we have triumphed.

Holy Guacomole!

*Please not I spelled guacamole right on the first try.
First 60 minutes of running, an now another milestone! Today I made guacamole. I know, but for ME that's a major accomplishment. And it was delicious! Mom and Dad liked it too, which makes me really happy :D . I hope I can make it again! Maybe with tacos or something. I'm in loooove with guacamole!

The 60 Minute Club

A mighty feat was accomplished today: I, Olivia Andrews, successfully ran with Daddy for 60 WHOLE MINUTES. Dad told me I should "Be proud. Be very proud". And I am. It was hard work but I managed to go that far without collapsing (which I almost did when we finished). We're in good shape for the 10K on May 1st.

Thanks for reading! See you soon!

I'm Cured!

Finally! My bout of...whatever it is I had, has finally vanished. And thank goodness for that. Now I can stop crying at school and go back to running with my dad, playing with my friends and eating cookies and such. Unfortunately I've probably given it to some of you. Yeah, sorry. So, yeah. Get well soon to anybody I might've passed it on to. See ya soon!

Sickie

I sure hope my friends and family are reading this blog, because I haven't read a single comment or e-mail about it yet.

Anyways, most of you know that I am sick. And ALL of you (all three of you lol) know that being sick bites. My stomach was roaring all day and I had a bad case of the chills. I suspect I caught whatever I have from Hannah Cox, and my daddy seems to have caught it from me. Seeing as I don't get the advantage of staying home from school, I sure hope I feel better soon. Because tummyaches are the worst.

Sup?

Hello, friends and family! I know I used to have a blog and I never kept it up. But now I can do it from my iPod, so I'm gonna give it another shot. That way it's easier and I can do it more often. So thanks! I hope you'll like it, I'll mostly just write about things I'm excited about, random thoughts and fun events such as family vacations! See you soon!
